Meet the Buyer 2020
The four Councils participating in the STAR Procurement shared service are coming together again in November 2020 for a joint ‘Meet the Buyer’ day. This follows on from the success of the joint Meet the Buyer day in November 2018 at Rochdale Town Hall, when more than 150 businesses benefited from interaction with public sector buyers across the STAR Councils.
The Meet the Buyer day gives suppliers across STAR Council areas and the wider Greater Manchester economy, the opportunity to find out what opportunities exist for supplying to local government, education, housing and health services. It provides a unique opportunity to interact with these organisations.
Businesses can also take advantage of workshops delivered by STAR Procurement which will concentrate on aspects of the tendering process which are relevant to the public sector. More information in respect of these workshops – including some regional workshops that will be hosted in the lead-up to the Meet the Buyer day, will be published on this website in the forthcoming days.
