STAR Procurement is supporting Rochdale Council and the Rochdale Development Agency with the procurement of a new £20m link road from Junction 19 of the M62 to Pilsworth Road in Heywood. This is the start of a major development in the South Heywood area, which the link road will facilitate.
Contractors interested in tendering for this scheme can register their interest via The Chest, the Council's e-procurement portal.
STAR Procurement is facilitating a market engagement event for this exciting opportunity. The engagement event will cover:
- Background to the Link Road Scheme and future development proposals;
- Provide an overview of the development programme – including timescales and contracting strategy;
- Outline of key challenges and risks to the programme;
- Overview of the procurement strategy; and
- Q&A Panel
Those interested in tendering for this scheme are invited to register to attend the event at Rochdale Town Hall on Friday 8th February 2019, where more information will be shared by the Council and its development partners.
